EuroCheck makes inspections on the serial number of the banknote, and allows you to recognize immediately, in all probability, a counterfeit note.
Checks are as follows:

- Serial number correct length;
- Check digit verification obtained by mathematical operations on the serial number;
- Presence or absence of the serial number in the Police Force Data Bank counterfeit notes archives, provided by the Italian Ministry of Interior;

Wi-fi or carrier data connection is necessary for this last check.

(NOTE: at the moment the connection to the Police database via H3G italian operator is not active for unspecified network problems. We hope the carrier will fix it soon).
